Q. Are you still conducting open for inspections or private inspections?
A. Open homes and private inspections are not allowed during the lockdown, therefore we are currently unable to conduct either of these. We are conducting virtual inspections for our properties, you can find the virtual tours online on the property listing.

Q. Are you still able to provide a market appraisal for my home?
A. Yes, absolutely! Understanding your home’s value is as important as ever. An appraisal is available via online virtual or online streaming services or over the phone. Please contact us if you would like a free appraisal for your property.

Q. How are auctions being conducted?
A. In the restricted area, all auctions are being held online. Ray White is committed to providing an alternative safe environment in which our customers can participate in property auctions. We have developed processes to ensure that we respect all government recommendations for such environments. We’re a proud auction business and have adapted to deliver an online auction experience like no other, accessible virtually via the comfort of your own home and hosted live by a professional auctioneer. Q. Are you still conducting open for inspections?
A. Open homes and private inspections are not allowed in the restricted area. We are currently conducting virtual inspections for our rental properties – a video walk through can be found on the property listing page.

Q. How do I apply for a rental property during COVID-19?
A. Under the current situation, we are taking applications for rental properties without needing to physically inspect the property. Video walk through’s are available for viewing online on the property page. Once you have viewed the video walk through, you can simply submit your application as normal through 1Form.

Q. How are you conducting routine inspections?
A. On-site Routine inspections within the restricted area have been halted. All routine inspections will be rescheduled for after the lockdown.

Q. I normally come into your office to pay my rent via money order – how do I pay my rent now?
A. We have a Payment Gateway Form that you will need to complete to set up your rental payments via Direct Debit. You can email your property manager who can provide you with this. Please email your property manager if you have any questions.

Q. What will be happening with maintenance?
A. As per the Government restrictions, we will only be conducting urgent repairs during the lockdown period. For a full list of ‘urgent’ repairs, please go to the Consumer Affairs website. Should your repair not fall under one of the listed items as per the website, unfortunately, we will not be able to attend to it until the lockdown has been lifted. It is however still important that you are communicating all of your maintenance to us during this time, urgent or not. We will create a record of the job in our system and communicate with our tradespeople to have the works completed after restrictions are lifted. Please ensure that any maintenance being recorded is put through via email.

Q. Is your office still open as normal?
A. No, our office is currently closed to the public and due to current restrictions, there will be no staff in the office at any time. We are currently working remotely from home, if you need assistance with anything please contact the office number 03 9390 9002 and you will be redirected to our friendly receptionist. If your enquiry is in regards to our sales property, please contact the listing agent directly as our receptionist will be unable to transfer your call.
