I’m doing a pre-application, what do I put when it asks if I’ve viewed the property?
In order to complete the pre-application for a property you will need to tick “yes, I have viewed the property” and put the date you’re completing the application, this will let you proceed to the next step of your pre-application.
Do I need to make an appointment to attend the open for inspection?
No, if the time is advertised online on our website/realestate.com.au you are welcome to come along to the property. You will need to bring photo ID with you and adhere to all Government instructions regarding Covid-19
Can I have a private inspection of the property?
Private inspection are only conducted once a pre-application has been completed and sent through 1Form, once received one of our property managers will be in contact to organise a day and time to take you through the property.
Can I be approved for a rental if I haven’t viewed the property?
No, our office requires that you attend a physical inspection when possible prior to your application being submitted to the owner. If you cannot attend the inspection you can get a family member or friend to attend on your behalf.
How can I inspect a property if Covid-19 restrictions are in place?
Due to Covid-19 our inspections have been halted meaning that we cannot conduct physical open for inspections, our team has worked hard to make virtual inspections available so that you can view the property virtually and still find a home. How long will it take for my application to be approved?
It usually takes anyway from 3 to 7 days for an application to be approved. In some cases it can take a little longer as all our applications are relayed to the owner of the property for a final decision.
How do I register to bid on an auction property?
The listing agent of the property will send you through an email with the bidder’s registration link if you have expressed your interest in the property and have confirmed you will be attending the auction. You will need to fill in your details and submit them through via this link. If you haven’t received the link you will need to contact the listing agent directly and request they send the link through.
Can I purchase an auction property subject to finance?
No, you must have your finance approved prior to bidding on an auction property. Auction properties do not have a cooling off period and are unconditional the moment the contract is fully executed. If you need assistance with your finance you can go here and contact our Loan Market broker Adam.
